Distillation Apparatus All Glass is the assembly consists of a corning glass flask with embedded heating elements fused in spiral type glass coil internally at bottom. A double wall coiled condenser has standard ground glass joints. Complete with glass fitting, metallic stand, rings clamps and electrical fittings. The unit supplied is as per NPL patent design. To work on 220/230 volts A.C. supply.

The Unit Is Recommended For Making Pyrogen Free Distilled Water, Made Out Of Stainless Steel 304 Grade Sheet, The Cock Fitted To The Unit Is Brass C.P.Wall Mounting Clamp Is Provided With The Unit And Is Supplied With The Flexible Tubing,

Unit made of all stainless steel sheet for making pyrogen-free distilled water. Kettle element with cut-out system has been employed. Clamps have been provided for wall hanging. Supplied with plug-cord to work on220V AC 50Hz single phase.

Capacities available : 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 16 & 20 litres per hour.


Double Distillation unit

The main unit consist of a bottom Boiler and top Boiler with Condenser, which can be easily separated (Demountable ) for necessary cleaning or  maintenance, if required. Bottom vent provided in bottom Boiler for general cleaning and maintenance

The main constituent of Quartz is SiO2 >99.9% which make the apparatus highly resistant to any thermal shock, devitrification and resistant to water and acids.

The electrical heaters are so designed, they do not come into contact with water because they are embedded inside a Quartz tube, hence nullifying the possibility of metal contamination by the heaters.

The given Volume of water in the Boiler during the distillation process is very Less, resulting in low heat loss, hence power is saved.

The distillate obtained from this apparatus is PYROGEN FREE. It is also FREE from metal ions.

All water connections can be given with threaded connectors

A double wall coiled condenser has standard ground glass joints. Complete with glass fitting, metallic stand, rights clamps and electrical fittings. The unit supplied is as per NPL patent design.

Water Distillation Unit

Water distillers produce highly treated and disinfected water for laboratory usage. The distillation process removes minerals and microbiological contaminants and can reduce levels of chemical contaminants.

Municipal or well water is manually or automatically fed into the distiller unit’s boiling chamber.A heating element in the boiling chamber heats the water until it boils.The steam rises from the boiling chamber. Volatile contaminants (gases) are discharged through a built-in vent. Minerals and salts are retained in the boiling chamber as hard deposits or scale.The steam enters a coiled tube (condenser), which is cooled by cool water.Water droplets form as condensation occurs.The distilled water is collected in a storage tank. If the unit is an automatic model, it is set to operate to fill the storage tank.
